Lagos never sleeps and it definitely never passes up on an opportunity to dress up or party, because like you know…ain’t no party like a Lagos party! Tonight, all glam roads leads to the Film House Cinema in Lekki, where all your favorite Nollywood Stars and socialites will converge in style for the MET Ball-themed premiere of the Oceans 8 movie. Stakes are set high for the stars tonight because they are expected to show up looking MET-worthy and so far, i have seen a few applauding looks on the gram. Who takes the ultimate crown for the best look glam of the night? Lets get right into it.

Actress Lilly Afe dazzled in an orange sheer neckline feather-embellished peplum number by Nonnistic Fashion. She looks Amazing!!! The color is brilliant, the glam is subtle and effortless…Definitely one of the best dressed tonight
Style 101 expert Idia Aisien oozed of sexiness and glamour, in this regal purple and gold dramatic high-low number by designer Toju Foyeh. She paired her outfit by a fascinator by Omoge and anchored the look with some gold strappy heels. She sure knows how to work the Red Carpet…always!
I love it when the stars make my job easier and better by taking great shots of themselves. All the glam in the whole world means nothing if you ain’t got it captured correctly! The delectable Ini Dima-Okojie is one you can always count on to slay and to capture! She made her way to the Red Carpet looking absolutely spectacular in a baby pink,  thigh-baring, ruffled tulle Fab Lane by Derin dress topped of with a dramatic multi-colored Enemaya head-piece. love it!
Actress Osas Ighodaro Ajibade takes the crown for the most creative look of the night. If you’re calling it MET Gala inspired, then if might as well be MET Gala worthy! Osas hit the Red Carpet #METGALA X #Hungergames ready in a custom black ruffled plunge-neckline thigh-baring number with an adjustable peacock feathered cape. Slayyy mitches!
There is something really immaculate about seeing Designer Bolaji Ayinde in this outfit and that head-piece on the carpet. She looks divine! Her heavily embroidered black dress #Nouvacouture and Urezkulture head-piece is a picture-perfect pair for the nights occasion.
Socialite Tracy Nwapa brought some more edginess to the event in this cut-out silver-black mesh garland foil embellished number.
TV Presenter Toyosi Etim-Effiong was hair to heels fabulous in this dramatic mulberry strapless number by Zhena’s closet.
There is no METgala Theme without a Dramatic Beauty look to go with it. Plus Size model and media personality Taje Prest brought some smoke in this Chartreuse embroidered hem-line number by Makioba Official longsleeve gown and an Urez kulture headpiece.
Ghanaian Beauty Juliet Ibrahim could effortlessly pull off any look in the world, u dont know why she chose this event to show up looking neat and shinny. She gets an ‘A’ for attendance and a ‘B’ for looking beautiful.
It was all about colors for TV girl Vimbai Mutinhiri as she made her way to the movie premiere in a multicolored strapless gown  by South African designer Gert Johan Cotzee.
#MoneyShot Superstar Toke Makinwa looked completely bad-ass in this black beaded dramatic number by South African designer Orapeleng Modutle.
Hands down, jaw-dropping absolutely mesmerizing! My all time favorite look at the Oceans 8 Lagos premiere is from Socialite Nowe Isibor in Jane Michael Collection. It is a MET-gala theme and this is what we need to see! Drama, Fashion, beauty…she nailed this look to the feathers on her crown.
Actress Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi‘s seasoned old-Nollywood-glam look in this layered dramatic number by Tiannah Styling is a hit! Her hair and make up fit right into tonight’s festivities.
Actress Omoni Oboli was also on the scene in a purple embellished neckline ball gown by designer Tiannah Styling.

Whats a MET-themed event or any Red Carpet event without some sparkle. Actress Ijeoma Aniebo brought the glitz to the Red Carpet in this flowing one-hand number by designer Sean Manuel

I didnt get to see a clear view of Actress Kate Henshaw’s full look, but there is no way she doesnt get an applaud for this statement head-piece. I love when the stars take details seriously. I will be updating the full look once i get a clearer view.
Actress Shaffy Bello’s grand entrance was definitely paparazzi worthy and Met-gala approved. She stole the show with her heavily embroidered two-piece number and dramatic beaded head-piece! Gaga would be glad.

The Stars definitely gave us something to swoon-over and yap about at the Lagos Premiere of the #Oceans8 movie. It was a beyond impressive Red Carpet and even more lauding fashion gathering. This are my ultimate picks for the very best Fashion statements at the event. Until next time, be inspired by a clip from the actual cast of the Ocean’s 8 movie on your way out.
