Ebony Beauty Lupita Nyong’o has had one hell of a busy year so far. From being the object of affection in 2018’s biggest blockbuster movie Black Panther, to touring the globe promoting her work; she made a stop in Nigeria people…Nigeria! It was glad to have you come to Nigeria Lupita, even though it was on the down-low. Next time, please do a press tour. 
Moving on, we definitely missed Lupita’s A-list glow at the just concluded MET Gala, were i was really looking forward to seeing her as ebony Mother Mary. She might have skipped this years MET but she is not skipping the Cannes Film Festival. She headed straight to the French Riviera and landed right on time to promote her new movie “Sorry People” Keep reading and see how marvelous she looked on the Red Carpet. 

Once a Wakandan, always a Wakandan! Lupita looked refreshingly beautiful as she stepped out for her first Red Carpet appearance at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival in a Dior Haute Couture white woven organza cage dress. Lupita sure knows how to shine bright in a crowd.  

Glorious! Lupita is giving us major angel vibes here on the Red Carpet. Maybe she would have made a great looking angel at the MET’s too, hmm who knows. Her sleeveless feathery turtle-neck Dior number was a perfect fit for the occasion. She had her dark natural mane styled perfectly in an up-do and kept her accessories minimal with some drop earrings and rings to go. She kept her make up radiant and wore a dark lip to match her perfect melanin skin.

Lupita is mostly at the famous festival to promote her new spy thriller 335, which co-stars Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain and Fan Bingbing. The film sees all five women play international spies – a female version of the likes of The Bourne Identity and James Bond. 
Dear Brown Skin girl, take one more look at Lupita and be inspired! She is bold and fearless and comfortable in her skin. She doesn’t have to be anyone else because she has made herself Lupita! She has put in Hard work and determination and resilience to being at the top of her career, she is respected by her peers and appreciated by the world, simply because she takes pride in being herself.
