Being a Nigerian child, i can totally relate with Superstar David Adeleke aka Davido aka OBO (Omo Baba Olowo-Rich man peekin) father wanting him to go to school and study and graduate with a degree, just so the possibility of getting a great job in Nigeria and putting food on the table is possible. I mean every Nigerian child born of Strong Nigerian parents should be able to understand and relate with this.

Well, Davido unlike most Nigerian children disregarded his fathers advice and went on to pursue his dreams and today, he is one of the biggest stars in the whole of Africa with a Net-worth we cant quite put a figure on. All we know is that at some point he had 30 billion for the account eee oh (sings).

Davido is very successful! Between touring the globe and selling out concerts all across Africa, in Europe and in some countries i never heard of no one can keep up with his pace. Days back, he performed at the 2018 Made in America concert, where the likes of Nicki Minaj, Pusha-T, Fabulous, Ty Dollar-sign and others performed and then made it to The most dangerous morning show in America, The Breakfast Club, where he sat and talked with Charlamagne and DJ Envy. Watch his interview below and hear all he had to say about defying his fathers wishes to chase a career in music.

Right now, any parent would be proud of Davido. He went back to school, got a degree and still has his super successful career and a whole lot of Future right in front of him and he is just 26-years-old. Who says you cant have it all!

Did i forget to add he even took out time to register for Nigeria’s mandatory NYSC Scheme. This is not how most Nigerian Corpers look but he has to be excused, he is Davido.
Davido also has two daughters Imade, 3 and Hailey, 1.
